RBCSS 2025 Accomplishments and Updates

This year new flooring was laid in all the rooms on the main floor and new toilets were installed, they were upgraded to high toilets at a total cost of $42,000. Thanks to the Provincial Government for a Grant of $32,600.

The final section of the Children’s Playground was installed. Still needs some leveling.

Upgrades were done around the community centre complex including: repairs, signage, exit signs, safetysignage, safety bars on doors, temporary repairs to the ramps, and painting of the shed, receptacles, tables and many thingsin our building swere brouhjt up to code. As a resultof the Federal Government not supplying a summer student, we had to depend on volunteersto maintainsome of the grounds for us. Much appreciated.

The Emergency exit at the Seniors Building needs immediate replacement. We hope to have that done shortly. We are requesting a grant from the Provincial Government to replace the Tara Lynne Centre and the Seniors Building ramps. Funds are expected to be available in March 2026.

A large window was replaced at the Visitation Parlour and much work is needed to repair the ventilation system in the spring 2026.
