Accomplishments of 2024

The final completion of the Electrical Heating System was done at the Tara Lynne Centre.  

Purchase of three new stoves for our kitchen and also three new food warmers for upstairs for the Café Luncheon

More upgrades were done on the ball field canteen and dugouts were added on the ball field along with the necessary upkeep. Unfortunately three of the bleachers had to be removed due to deterioration and repairs were made to the final two. 

The Youth Development Committee completed installation of the new basketball court.

“Net” Income for the following Events:

Chase the Ace $9675.00

Café Luncheon $5784.95

Festival $11,771.20

Donations totals to date are $2238

Rentals to date are $4662

These funds go towards the upkeep of all the buildings including the Tara Lynne Centre, Lighthouse, Funeral Home and all the facilities under the umbrella of RBCSS. Insurance alone cost just over $12,000, Repairs and upgrades so far this year is $16,700, Power over $8,600, Hall expenses $5427, Stoves/warmers $3255, & other miscellaneous costs.  

A summer student was hired for eight weeks and did the mowing, whipper snipping and kept the area neat and tidy. Thanks Katie
